Please accept this letter, accompanied with my application, to give a detailed description
of my home business at my property located at 53 Spruce Hill Avenue in Florence.
As of April 01, 2011; I have been registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
collecting proper taxes for the operation of my business known as Jonathon's Yard&
Garden Equipment Repair. This business is fully operated out of my garage. The garage
is a separate structure located behind my home. I am sole proprietor offering very
reasonable rates on small engine repairs. My business is marketed towards the repairs of
lawn mowers, chain saws, tillers, snow blowers, and other small yard and garden
equipment.
I have made my mission to maintain low rates for repairs, to allow people of
Northampton to be able to have an affordable place, which is locally owned, to have such
equipment serviced. This business, is also, my only source of income. Of which, I am
presently generating, on average, about six to eight customers, per week, at my home
business. I also, make one trip, per day, on my own, related to the home business.
I graciously hope the board will grant me the required permit, to continue my small
business from home. I would be very happy to answer any questions you may have for
me.
