The following work does not require any additional permits from the Historic District Commission:
1. Interior work.
2. Refurbishing of exterior envelope to match existing.
3. Refurbishing or replacing of existing painted aluminum panels in-kind
4. Replacement of aluminum window walls with insulating units to match existing profiles.
5. Membrane roof replacement
6. Planted roof on one story dining room roof
7. New concrete accessible entry ramps for exterior access to courtyard and main entrances.
This approval does NOT cover demolition of exterior wood sided addition that houses walk in cooler, infill addition under the front
overhangs and related removal of iron security gates and possible future solar panels that are visible from a public way. Those will be
the subject of a Historic District Commission public hearing.

Any person aggrieved by this permit may, within 20 days after the filing of such determination with the City Clerk, file a written request
with the Commission for a de novo review by a person or persons of competence and experience in such matters, designated by the
Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC). PVPC's designee's findings shall be filed within 45 days after the request and shall be
binding on the applicant and the Commission, unless a further appeal is sought in Superior Court, as provided in MGL c. 40C.
