and a large barn is located on a sloping bank above the north branch of the Manhan River in the southwestern corner of Northampton. The 1831 town map identifies a mill site, Kingsley’s
factory, on the river just east of this farm, but doesn’t show the farm during this period, but it is unlikely that this is his house. The house was probably built by William S. Rust,
