The use of a dance floor and DJ has changed the use group from a restaurant to that of a nightclub. This change requires that a sprinkler system be installed in all areas as per 780CMR 7th edition; 903.2.1.2.1 Group A -2nc. An automatic sprinkler system shall be provided throughout buildings having a Group A -2nc occupancy where the occupant load is 50 or greater. Failure on your part to stop these activities will result in fines and or court action pursuant to MGL c.148 and 780CMR. Please contact this office upon receipt of this letter.
