1)The vinyl siding on the front of the façade shall be replaced with new siding to match the existing
siding on the other sides of the building.
2). Prior to issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall revise drawings for the handicap ramp on
the front such that it appears to be behind the porch so the porch maintains an appearance of being
one level from the street. Revised plans shall be reviewed by OPD staff and one CBAC member to
confirm this design change.
FINDINGS:
The Central Business Architecture Committee approved the application for the expansion of the structure including the roof dormers and
the front porch based on the revised plans submitted at the hearing.
In granting approval the Committee found the project would include changes to a transitional residential structure and as such were in
compliance with the standards for modifications to these types of structures.

Any issuance or denial of a permit by the Committee may be appealed to the Northampton Planning Board, by an applicant or other
aggrieved party, provided such appeal has been filed within 21 days of the filing of said decision with the City Clerk. The Planning Board
shall limit its consideration of such an appeal to considering errors of the Committee and shall need a two-thirds vote of its members to
overturn the action of the Committee.
