MA 01062 February 3, 2012 23A-278 Dear Ms. Soltys, I received a report that your house at 205 Nonotuck was in disrepair and might be unsafe. I inspected the dwelling at 1:30 pm on February
3, 2012. There are a number of violations of the Massachusetts State Building Code that present a significant danger to life and limb. These violations include blocked or obstructed
means of egress, use of extension cords as permanent wiring, wood stoves installed in an unsafe manner, combustible materials in proximity to the furnace and lack of functioning smoke
and carbon monoxide detectors. As a result of my inspection, in accordance with 780 CMR chapter 1, section 116.2, you are hereby ordered to correct all violations. Additionally, I find
that this structure would be especially unsafe in case of fire, and I deem it dangerous within the the meaning thereof. I have affixed in a conspicuous place upon its exterior walls
a notice of its dangerous condition, which shall not be removed or defaced without authority from me. The building must be vacated and may not be reoccupied until all violations directly
affecting life safety have been corrected. Please notify me when the building has been made safe. Please contact me to discuss your plans to correct these violations. My telephone number
