Regarding 216 North King Street
I am about to start the project at 216 North King Street, which was granted a
finding by the Zoning Board of Appeals on March 8, 2002. This note is to confirm
our conversation of March 8 in which we discussed changing the aspect ratio of
the building. The final footprint of the building shall be 20 feet by 72 feet, or 1440
feet square, not 24 feet by 60 feet — 1440 feet square. Total net area is the same
and there are no other changes.
This change was made to ensure that the building would not in any way
encroach on the current green space.

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) Chapter 40A, Section 11, no Finding or any
extension, modification or renewal thereof, shall take effect until a copy of the decision bearing
the certification of the City Clerk that twenty days have elapsed after the decision has been

Hampshire County Registry of Deeds or Land Court, as applicable, and indexed under the

MA, in accordance with the following plans:

Zoning Board Members present and voting were: Chair Mark NeJame, Bob Riddle and Sara
Northrup.
The Findings of the Board under Section 9.3 for a change to a conforming use on a Pre - existing
non - conforming lot were as follows:
1. The Board finds that such change, to construct a 24' by 60' storage building, will not be
substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing conforming use
when said change, extension or alteration is to a different conforming use, which requires
the same or less minimum lot area, minimum lot width and frontage, minimum lot depth,
setbacks and parking than is required for the present use (and lot does not fully conform
to the present zoning requirements for the proposed use).
