I recommend a 4 ply by 14" 2.0E LVL fastened together according to manufacturer's specifications. The beam should be supported by either 4 ply SPF 2x4 or 2 ply SPF 2x6 columns on either end. The interior column should fall directly above an existing basement column, and the floor framing should be blocked with solid wood blocking below both columns.
