This entry door is at the rear corner east sidewall of an 8' wide by 20+' long hipped shed roof addition which was built at the rear east sidewall corner of the original building. There is a 5' wide section of a larger deck functioning as a porch in front of the door a 5' tongrunoflste_psiunDing west to .grade directly acr ss this GicsPctim frDInthe' The new roof piece will span the 5' deck, the 5' steps and a 4'x 4' existing concrete landing at grade at the bottom of the steps for a total roof length of 14'. The new roof will be centered on the door. Its north (driveway side) eave will be a continuation of the hipped shed roofed addition's 9" deep soffit, 5" high fascia and 2.75" crown moulding. The roofs width will be twice the distance from the door centerline to the outside edge of the crown moulding. This crown moulded eave will be continuous around all 3 sides of the new roof, returning to rejoin the existing eave south of the door, without overhanging the nearby window. The east and south sides below the roof will be open with diagonal bracing at 2 sides of each new post. The north or driveway side will be custom diagonal "privacy" lattice from roof to grade with a 3'0x 7'0 -radius.to, ed opening at c, the concrete landing. Benton Dennis.
