Chair’s Report
Katharine relayed that she spoke to Mayor Higgins regarding the Valley CDC staff support
application, and that the Mayor is still looking into whether this constitutes an eligible activity
under the CPA.
The Committee generally discussed housing applications for non-real estate specific projects.
Katharine informed the Committee that City Council is looking into whether an appointee to fill
out the remainder of Lilly’s term can be designated. The Ordinance is not clear whether this is
possible.
The Community Preservation legislation has been re-filed, and Katharine encouraged people to
contact legislators to support the bill.
The Sober House project may need some additional funds, and Katharine will advise Yvonne
Freccero to call Sarah to discuss a possible expedited application.
