Re: Abbreviated NOI Filing, 811 North King Street
Staff have completed a preliminary review of the Abbreviated NOI for tree cutting at the District
2 building, and have determined that additional information will be required for a complete
review of the project. We cannot schedule the public hearing until the application is complete
the information shown below is provided.
1.The fee as calculated in the application is provided as Category 1c, which is listed as
“control of nuisance vegetation by removal, herbicide treatment or other means,
from a resource area, on each single family lot, as allowable under 310 CMR
10.53(4). This applies only to single family house lots. The category used to determine
the fee should be 2h: “Control of nuisance vegetation, other than on a single family lot,
by removal, herbicide treatment or other means, reviewable under 310 CMR 10.53(4),”
for a total of $500.
2.A $75 check (or registry of deeds bill-to account) must be provided for required
recording of the Order of Conditions.
3.An Abbreviated Notice of Intent was submitted for the project. According to 310CMR
10.05(4)b, Abbreviated Notices of Intent may only be used for projects where proposed
work is located within the buffer zone, land subject to flooding, or riverfront area. The
trees to be removed are located in the BVW, so an abbreviated NOI is not an option.
